Gregory Heating and Plumbing Ltd will install, or replace, all heating control components, whether they are wired, wireless or wifi compatible. The main components that we install are:

HEATING CONTROL MANUFACTURERS AND BRANDS
We install a choice of Honeywell, Glow-worm, Vaillant, and Drayton components, when replacing/upgrading any of the above components. We do however, recommend that either Vaillant or Glow-worm heating controls, are used when installing either of those brands of boiler, as they have been designed to operate together. Some clocks and programmers can even be fitted into the boiler facia.
WIRED, WIRELESS (RF) AND WIFI CONTROLS
Wired clocks, programmers and thermostats are installed most commonly. They are essentially very reliable; running on mains electricity they do not suffer from external interference. They are also straight forward to set up and do not require any external devices or software to operate.
Wireless (RF) controls offer a degree freedom, in that no wiring is required to the boiler. This by-passes the need to channel out cable runs within walls, reducing reparation work and cost. This can be a benefit when creating a number of different heating zones throughout a large a property. Battery operated Wireless (RF) controls may however need regular battery changes.
Wireless (Wifi) controls are becoming increasingly popular, with improvements in smart phone apps and the accessibility of domestic wireless routers in homes. They enable numerous heating zones within a house to be controlled with out expensive cabling and your heating to be controlled whilst out of the house via the internet.
