MECHANICAL POWER FLUSH SERVICE PROVIDED
Gregory Heating and Plumbing Ltd offer a mechanical power flush service for domestic central heating and underfloor heating systems. In particular we recommend a power flush when fitting a new high efficiency boiler to an old system; which will help protect it from many years of sludge and corrosive build up within the system. Alternatively, you may have notice a drop in heating efficiency and be experiences some of the symptoms below.
POTENTIAL SYMPTOMS
If you experience any of the following symptoms, then your central heating system may require a mechanical power flush:
- Cold/partially cold radiators
- Radiators with perforations and leakage
- Constant requirement to bleed radiator of air
- Repeated Central Heating Pump failure
- Boiler making unusual noises
POWER-FLUSH REQUIRED
The symptoms above are more than likely due to a build a sludge and corrosion deposits which restrict flow, caused by scale and air entering the system. The mechanical power-flush will remove the majority of these deposits, restoring heating and operating efficiency back to the system.
DURATION, PRICES AND PAYMENT
If your system requires a mechanical power-flush, the process itself will take about 3 – 6 hours depending on the size of the system, number of radiators and accessibility of the radiators/boiler.
For a system of up to 10 radiators we will conduct the service for £350 (including materials).
Between 10 and 20 radiators this cost rises to between £450-550 (including materials).
